Retail Innovation Week 2022 casts a spotlight on the most progressive ideas in retail and along the customer experience journey. Thousands of attendees visiting New York between January 15-22, 2021 (and livestreaming online) get to learn about innovation in key strategy areas that include store experience design, the intersection of social media and ecommerce and technologies in the store.
Alongside these topics is the focus on sharing a conversation around the importance of diversity and inclusivity in retail. Under-representation and discrimination remains prevalent across every aspect of retail structure and to respond to this the PSFK stage, organizers will host a 2 panel discussion around Inclusive Retail and Employee Commitment.
For the Inclusive Retail session, a panel of experts will look at topics including representative marketplaces, community engagement and how technology can help develop empathy.
For the Employment Commitment session, a set of experts will discuss talent cultivation, marketing representation and public accountability.
Across these panels on the morning of Monday January 17, we’ll celebrate the work that’s been done -especially over the last 18 months, and highlight the strategies that still need to be pursued.
