eCommerce is up almost 30% across categories since the beginning of the pandemic, which is re-defining category penetration and consumer expectations. For retailers, eCommerce is often a less-profitable business and the complexities of BOPIS and Curbside pickup may add additional complexities, but will the benefits outweigh the cost?
In this roundtable session, Wongdoody’s Executive Director of Commerce, Steve White, will talk directly with retailers and subject-matter-experts in eCommerce to get a sense of what is really happening. This will be an opportunity to hear directly how eCommerce companies and sites are thriving, the impact on stores and future plans. Topics for this session will cover eCommerce growth, technology considerations (platforms) and the overall effect on omni-channel retailing.
